A Headache.
A headache. His head was in a daze. He suspected that it was from a very full day of stressful events, but also didn't want to rule out the possibility of a concussion. The muscles in his legs rang with a sharp pain when he moved them a certain way, but were otherwise okay. Unsure of what to do, he put on some light music a friend had recorded on piano the previous week. He was laying on his futon with his eyes closed, focusing on the phrases from his friend's right hand. He still couldn't believe how good this friend was at playing and composing. He took slow, deep breaths and let the music swirl in his head. Corner to corner it went, gradually pulling him into a bright, tender sleep.
